Hi! My name is Lilo!!
I'm a dachshund. I was a birthday present, which makes me the greatest gift ever given in this family, a claim nobody has successfully disputed.
Kim turned fifty. Her husband and her kids convened, considered the options, and correctly concluded that what she needed was me. I have repaid them ever since by sleeping on the shipping supplies and barking at the mail carrier, who is up to something. I don't know what yet. I'm working on it.
About my mom
Before my time, Kim was a Navy wife. Her husband spent thirteen years in, most of it on submarines — which is a terrible place to keep a dog, and honestly not a great place to keep a husband either. Gone for months. No phone calls. Nobody to hand a screaming toddler to at two in the morning.
So she ran the whole operation solo. Kids, house, everything, through deployments and duty stations and moves. She got extremely good at not dropping things.
You can see it in how she runs this shop. Every order gets checked like somebody's inspecting it. Because for thirteen years, somebody was.
About my family
Thirty years married. Seven humans, six of us with four feet. The kids are grown now and turned out well — they've got careers and lives of their own, which I take partial credit for, having supervised the tail end of it.
The house isn't empty, though. Somebody's always coming through the door, and Kim feeds every single one of us before she sits down. She eats dinner cold about half the time and has never once mentioned it.
That's who's packing your order. Not a warehouse. Her, at the table, with a dachshund asleep on her feet. That's me. I'm the dachshund.
So here's the deal
Every scoop gets filmed. Every card gets pulled on camera. Nobody picks your beads, nobody swaps your card, nobody edits out the boring parts to make a better video. Nobody ever inspected a submarine by squinting at it and going “eh, close enough,” and we're not about to start with your order.
If something shows up wrong or broken, say so. Kim answers her own messages. There's no support team — there's a woman who spent thirty years making sure her people had what they needed, and she is not going to get sloppy about it now that the stakes are pony beads.
Thanks for shopping small. She'd never tell you it matters, so I will.
