Lilo’s Log Day 1

Two orders came in today and I was involved in all of it.
I want to be clear about my role. The human did the scooping, the bagging, the labeling, and what she calls "the paperwork." I handled everything else. Perimeter checks. Quality inspection of each bag as it came off the table, which requires getting your whole head in there. Escorting her to the tape dispenser and back. Twice.
The first order came in and she made a noise I have not heard before, something between a laugh and a shriek, and I ran a full lap of the shop on principle. There was no food involved. Disappointing, but I stand by the response.
The second one came later. She read the note out loud twice. Somebody told us their favorite colors, so she went back through the whole bin to find them, which took longer than the scooping did and nobody asked her to do it. I stayed on the table the entire time. Supervising. Occasionally stepping on things.
Then she packed them both. Filmed both. Wrote both names by hand.
Here's what I learned about my human in one day of formal operations: she's going to be like this about every single order. Read your note twice, dig through the whole bin for your colors, film the whole thing even when nobody's watching but me.
So if you're thinking about ordering — do it. Not because we need it, though we do. Because you're going to get an unreasonable amount of care from a woman at a desk who puts extra love in every order!
I'll be here. Moving around a lot. Getting in the way.
Bring on the next orders!
